Trylax Oxford Proves to be Great Success

The first US Lacrosse Trylax Event in Northern Mississippi was a huge success. On Sunday, February 23, twenty-seven new or beginner lacrosse players took the field at mTrade Park for the event. Trylax, a grant-based program sponsored by US Lacrosse, seeks to give new players the opportunity to try the sport of lacrosse in a fun and relaxing environment. The event saw boys and girls aged 6-14 from Oxford, Tupelo, and Water Valley. Though we only had 1.5 hours of lacrosse, the players did not want to leave and wanted to continue playing. From the event, players receive a US Lacrosse membership and a free lacrosse stick!

Players have already begun registering for Regents School of Oxford lacrosse team and the OPC Spring Lacrosse Clinic Series. No Miss Lacrosse would like to thank Jared Barkley with Oxford Park Commission and Brad Freeman of mTrade Park for their partnership in the event!
