No Miss concludes Fall Practices

No Miss lacrosse completed their fall slate of practices on Sunday, November 1.  After a 15-practice summer and 6-practice fall, the No Miss club is poised for the spring season, where all players will compete for Regents School of Oxford.

Throughout the summer and fall, No Miss had players from all over the state of Mississippi including Oxford, Abbeville, Batesville, and Jackson.  The club also had players from Memphis take the drive to compete with the team.  There were great improvements by all players and the coaches are excited to see the results in the spring.

The club will take the next 2 months off for the holiday season before Regents lacrosse kicks off in January.  The high school team will complete in the newly-formed MSLA (Mississippi Scholastic Lacrosse Association) where a Mississippi state lacrosse champion will be crowned in May 2021.  The middle school and youth team will play other Memphis area teams.

Coach Schroeder concerning the fall season: "Obviously, it was a difficult summer and fall, but I am extremely appreciative of all the new and returning players we had this season.  I saw great improvements in all stages of the game which is a testament of our coaches and players.  With the school season on the horizon, I am excited to see all these guys compete for Regents."
